Not a great day, but not an awful day either. I hit the Rams game, the line ended up 7 1/2 and the Patriots won by 7. I also hit a nice moneyline wager on the Giants to beat the Pittsburgh Steelers straight-up at + 130.
The Tampa Bay Buccaneers lost a close one on the road against the Dallas Cowboys. How did it happen? I'm still not sure. But I did like Miami as 1 point underdogs at home. They came through 25 to 16. Finally, the Eagles got a late touchdown to cover the 9 points spread in their game against the Atlanta Falcons.
The New Orleans Saints and San Diego Chargers played a college football type over game - - 37 to 32 - - in Lodon with the Saints winning straight-up. The total was 46 1/2 in that game.
