Capital One Bowl: Michigan State Spartans vs. Georgia Bulldogs

The worst thing about this bowl game is that we're going to have to continually watch those idiotic Capital One create your own credit card commercials. Everybody knows that only about 10% to 15% of the American public, if that, can even get credit or loans anymore.

Whatever.

Okay, done with the bitterness!

This is a game of contrasts. The Michigan State Spartans rely solely on Javon Ringer. He averages over 132 rushing yards a game. The Spartans offense is terrible after Ringer. So, it makes sense that if Georgia shuts down Ringer they cover the 8 point spread, right?

Yes, but they aren't going to shut down ringer. Georgia has given up an average of 36 points in their last 5 games, this includes giving up 38 to LSU who has about as good of an offense as Michigan State. Just because you know what you need to do, doesn't mean that you can do it!

Such is the case with the Georgia defense.

I like Michigan Sate to beat the 8 point spread.
